AWC report

• new timetable not fully implemented yet, but a big increase
• problems on Saturdays recently, to continue – due to engineering works
• some depot agreements not yet signed, affects Saturdays more than other days
• next timetable update is in May 23, the only significant changes are on N Wales route
• advance sales moving out, but still below the standard – blames engineering work
• Carstairs upgrade means 3 months of disruption, plus closure 4-19 March & some weekends to June
• weekend engineering somewhere on the AWC network all weekends in the year
• strikes & industrial action anticipated
• drive to recruit more female train drivers – mural at Euston
• Hitachi trains due in service summer 2023, Pendolino refurb in progress

• still lots of cancellations – restday working, sickness, driver training are blamed
